Job Description Roles & Responsibilities "• Design and implement a comprehensive 18-month Mud Logging Development Program. Develop training curricula, lesson plans, presentations, manuals, practical exercises, and competency assessment tools. Deliver classroom, practical, and supervise field-based training. Conduct periodic evaluations and maintain trainee performance records. Develop competency matrices and progression milestones aligned with international industry standards. Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees throughout the program. Coordinate field attachments and practical training with operational teams. Prepare periodic progress reports and recommendations to management." Desired Candidate Profile We are seeking a highly experienced Surface Mud Logging professional to design, develop, and deliver an intensive 18-month competency-based training program for entry-level and junior mud loggers. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a structured learning pathway that combines classroom instruction, practical exercises, simulation-based learning, field exposure, and competency assessments to produce industry-ready personnel capable of operating safely and effectively on land and offshore drilling operations. This position requires both extensive operational mud logging experience and proven academic or professional training capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's and PhD degree is desirable. Minimum 10 years of experience in surface mud logging and drilling operations. Minimum 5 years of experience in training, teaching, instructional design, or competency development. Previous experience delivering structured academic, vocational, or industry training programs is mandatory. Strong command of English (written and spoken).
