Middleware L3 Support Engineer / Administrator

The Middleware L3 Support Engineer / Administrator is responsible for technical troubleshooting, service restoration, problem management, performance optimization, security remediation, and controlled change execution across the middleware ecosystem. The role involves analyzing complex cross-platform failures, coordinating with various teams, and driving incidents to root-cause closure. Install, configure, administer, monitor, and support middleware platforms across environments. Perform L3 diagnosis and resolution for API, message-flow, queue, integration, and connectivity issues. Support API Gateway services including publication, routing, policies, and authentication. Provide 24x7/on-call production support and lead root-cause analysis for incidents. Monitor performance, apply security controls, and maintain backup and disaster-recovery procedures. Desired Candidate Profile 7 9 years of relevant experience in middleware engineering, administration, integration, or production L3 support. Strong hands-on experience with IBM ACE/App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ. Practical experience with at least two API gateway technologies such as IBM API Gateway, Kong, and NGINX. Working knowledge of Azure-hosted ACE/MQ, Azure Service Bus, OIC, Oracle RIB, and managed file-transfer platforms. Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and scripting/automation using Shell and/or Python.
