Microstrategy Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking an experienced MicroStrategy Developer to join a client project based in Dubai. This is an initial one-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project needs and performance. The successful candidate will work full-time at the client's premises in Dubai and will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and scorecards based on business requirements. Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards with a strong focus on UX/UI and data visualization best practices. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval processes to support reporting requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions. Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and efficient data integration. Optimize dashboard and report performance for large datasets. Support deployment, documentation, and ongoing enhancements of BI solutions. Provide technical support and resolve issues related to MicroStrategy reports and dashboards. Follow established development standards, governance, and best practices. Working Arrangement Location: Client premises in Dubai. Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site. Contract Duration: Initial 1 month, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a MicroStrategy Developer in enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Dashboard Development and Reporting (mandatory). Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and data modeling. Experience designing intuitive and visually appealing data visualizations and dashboards (UX/UI). Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases. Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries. Good understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
