Mechanical Estimator – Utilities Infrastructure (STP & Pump Stations)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator – Utilities Infrastructure to join our Tendering & Estimation team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in STP, pump stations, water & wastewater infrastructure projects, with proven expertise in preparing competitive mechanical cost estimates, tender submissions, and value engineering solutions. Review tender documents, IFB, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work. Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for: Sewage Treatment Plants (STP – Package & Conventional) Sewage & Stormwater Pump Stations Potable Water & Irrigation Networks Rising Mains and DI/HDPE/GRP Pipeline Systems Perform quantity take-offs for: Pumps, blowers, mixers, screens Mechanical equipment and accessories Piping, valves, fittings, chambers Develop detailed cost build-ups covering: Materials Equipment Installation labour Testing & commissioning Subcontract works Prepare RFQs, coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors, and evaluate technical & commercial quotations. Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, and Process teams during tender preparation. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

5–10 years’ experience in mechanical estimation Minimum 3–5 years in utilities infrastructure / STP / pump stations UAE/GCC experience mandatory Technical Knowledge Required: STP mechanical processes and equipment Pump station systems DI, HDPE & GRP piping networks Valves, fittings, and chambers Tendering and cost estimation for infrastructure projects Value engineering and Design & Build (D&B) projects Preferred
