Mechanical Cum Refrigerant Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary: To supervise, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to mechanical equipment, refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and associated utilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of all mechanical and refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Monitor the performance of pumps, motors, compressors, generators, water supply systems, sewage systems, and other mechanical equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely rectification. Ensure all mechanical systems comply with project specifications and safety standards. Supervise maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment including cold rooms, walk-in chillers, freezers, refrigerated containers, and commercial refrigeration units. Oversee maintenance of HVAC systems, including split AC units, package units, Chiller & Freezers AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and exhaust systems. Monitor refrigerant charging, leak detection, compressor performance, and system efficiency. Ensure refrigeration systems operate within manufacturer specifications and environmental regulations. Supervise technicians and subcontractors performing mechanical and refrigeration works. Allocate daily work assignments and monitor progress. Prepare preventive maintenance schedules. Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and service reports. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures. Conduct toolbox talks before maintenance activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports. Coordinate with electrical, civil, plumbing, and operations teams for integrated maintenance activities Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Minimum 6 years of experience in the relevant field Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or a related field. Leadership and team management. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
