Manager – Audit

Lead and oversee statutory and external audit engagements from planning through completion and reporting, ensuring high-quality delivery in accordance with ISA, applicable financial reporting requirements, UAE regulations, and ADGM requirements. Manage client portfolios, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, provide strategic business insights and identify opportunities for cross-selling and practice growth. Review financial statements, audit documentation, risk assessments, significant accounting matters, internal controls, and audit reports, ensuring appropriate technical conclusions and quality of deliverables. Oversee engagement budgets, resource allocation, and profitability while ensuring exceptional client service delivery. Lead, mentor, and develop audit teams, while driving adherence to firm quality standards and professional requirements. Lead and support business development initiatives, proposal preparation, client acquisition, and the expansion of the Audit & Assurance practice within the UAE market.

Desired Candidate Profile

CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, or an equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in audit, including recent experience managing audit engagements and teams. Current or recent experience at Manager level within a Big 4, international network or leading UAE audit firm is preferred. Demonstrated experience applying IFRS and ISA across audit planning, risk assessment, execution, financial statement review and reporting. Experience auditing ADGM entities, financial services firms, investment companies, holding structures or other regulated entities in the UAE is strongly preferred. Proven experience managing a portfolio of external audit engagements and leading audit teams. Proficiency in audit methodology, audit documentation and data-enabled audit tools. Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills. Employment Type Full-time
