Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
• General Ledger: Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with the monthly and year-end closing activities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they align with company standards
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger, and other financial records to ensure accuracy
• Tax Compliance: Support in preparing VAT/GST returns and other tax filings, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations
• Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Aid in the preparation of budget reports and financial forecasts, tracking performance against budgets
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions for greater efficiency in accounting tasks
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and resolve any accounting issues that may arise
• Compliance: Ensure that all accounting processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies

Education

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.

The Specialist Accounts role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company by handling accounts payable and receivable, general ledger functions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
