Logistics Coordinator

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Plan and coordinate shipments across all four transport modes — Air, Sea (FCL/LCL), Road, and Rail Manage freight forwarder, shipping line, and carrier relationships for all modes of transport Negotiate freight rates, transit times, and service levels with logistics service providers Monitor shipment movement from origin to destination and resolve delays proactively Coordinate with airlines, GSAs, and air freight forwarders for AWB generation and documentation Manage dangerous goods (DG) classification and compliance for air cargo (IATA DGR) Handle FCL/LCL bookings with shipping lines and NVOCC operators Manage Bill of Lading preparation, amendment, and surrender — Original, Telex Release, and Express Release Coordinate import/export clearance at Jebel Ali Port (JAFZA) and other UAE ports Track vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, and manage demurrage and detention Manage domestic (UAE) and cross-border (GCC) road transport — FTL/LTL movements Apply correct INCOTERMS 2020 across all purchase orders, sales contracts, and shipping instructions Prepare and verify all shipping documentation — Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, BL, AWB, Customs Declaration Submit import/export declarations via MIRSAL II / Dubai Trade portal Coordinate with UAE customs brokers for smooth clearance and resolve holds Manage and evaluate freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport vendors on performance Maintain live shipment tracker for all inbound and outbound movements Prepare weekly and monthly logistics MIS reports covering freight costs, transit times, and KPIs Coordinate internally with procurement, warehouse, finance, and sales teams Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 6–9 years of UAE-based logistics experience — mandatory Hands-on experience across all four modes: Air, Sea, Road, and Rail Strong practical knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020 — real trade transaction application Prior experience in a UAE or GCC Shipping Company — strongly preferred Experience handling Jebel Ali Port / JAFZA / Dubai Customs clearances Proficiency in Dubai Trade / MIRSAL II portal Working knowledge of freight management systems, TMS, or ERP logistics modules Strong command of MS Excel for shipment tracking and cost reporting Non-Asian nationals preferred Fluent in English — written and verbal; Arabic is an advantage Professional certifications in CILT, FIATA, or IATA DGR are a strong advantage Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business Administration Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail in documentation and compliance Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Other Department / Functional Area LogisticsSupply Chain Keywords Freight CoordinatorShipping CoordinatorSupply Chain CoordinatorAir FreightSea FreightOcean FreightFCLLCLRoad FreightRaLogistics CoordinatorFreight Coordina Get real-time job updates only on our App
