L2 Support Engineer

Provide Qatar-based L2 production support for applications, APIs, integrations, data services and cloud platforms operating under defined SLAs Triage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, traces, database queries and platform diagnostics to restore service Analyze application, API, database, container and infrastructure logs for root cause identification Execute approved changes, releases, housekeeping activities and routine health checks Monitor alerts, capacity, dependencies and recurring failure patterns Escalate unresolved issues to L3 teams or vendors with complete diagnostic evidence Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, known-error records and RCA inputs Contribute to problem management, release assurance, disaster recovery and continuous improvement initiatives Support data and AI pipeline or inference-related incidents as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a directly relevant discipline 5+ years of relevant L2 application, platform or production-support experience Demonstrated delivery in complex enterprise or public-sector environments Strong hands-on experience with Linux or Windows, APIs, SQL, log analysis and troubleshooting Working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, monitoring tools and networking concepts Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash or Python for diagnostics and automation Sound understanding of ITIL incident, problem, change and service-level management practices Exposure to AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, automation and decision support Relevant professional or technology certifications preferred Strong ownership, accountability and structured problem-solving ability Clear stakeholder communication and delivery focus Must be based in Qatar or open to relocation Employment Type Full-time
