IT Support Technician
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are currently recruiting an IT Support Technician (Back Office & Technical Support) for a French International School in Cairo. Work Locations: The position involves working at the school's various sites: Maadi, Zamalek, New Cairo, and El Merag. The technician will be assigned to one site per day, according to the school's needs and schedule. Therefore, it is necessary to be mobile and available to work at all of the school's sites. Working Hours: The schedule follows the school's schedule. 30 hours of work per week. The schedule is determined according to the school's operational needs. Flexibility to work at the different sites is required. Main Responsibilities: Provide IT support to teachers, students, and administrative staff. Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to workstations, the network, peripherals, and tablets. Install, configure, update, and maintain PCs, tablets, video projectors, and touchscreens. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the IT infrastructure. Participate in the deployment and management of iPads, including their initial configuration and registration in the MDM. Manage updates, iPad assignments to users, and incident tracking. Track user requests via a ticketing system. Ensure regular backups and contribute to data security. Inventory and track computer equipment and tablets. Prepare the necessary equipment for exams, online courses, videoconferences, and other academic activities. Sincerely, The Recruitment Team Desired Candidate Profile Desired profile: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. Strong command of Windows and iOS environments. Solid skills in hardware and IT diagnostics. Experience in a school setting is preferred. Experience managing a fleet of tablets/iPads is an asset. Customer service oriented, with strong teaching skills and patience. Rigorous, organized, autonomous, and responsive. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments. Discretion and respect for confidentiality. Sense of responsibility and respect for hierarchy. Willingness to travel between the school's various sites and availability to work at all required locations.
