Overview

Client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in IT Security and Infrastructure to join our client, a leading energy and utility provider. Working within the Corporate Platforms Finance & Security portfolio, you will lead critical projects focused on security applications, hardware/server architecture, firewalls, and regional network refreshes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive high-impact security initiatives within a mature enterprise PMO environment, with potential for long-term career growth and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project execution for enterprise IT security applications and infrastructure initiatives adhering to established PMO standards.

Lead upcoming technical implementations, including the refresh of a regional private network and physical security access application onboardings.

Coordinate and collaborate with third-party vendors responsible for infrastructure delivery, hardware components, and server architecture.

Build and maintain comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and tracking mechanisms using Microsoft Project.

Ensure project deliverables align with security controls, firewalls, and network infrastructure standards.

Required Qualifications

Active PMP Certification - must have

Proven experience managing projects involving IT security applications, firewalls, server architecture, and hardware components.

Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Project within a formal enterprise PMO.

Strong vendor management experience, particularly overseeing third-party technical deliverables.

Cybersecurity experience (IAM, Sailpoint exp, etc...)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous project management experience within Exelon or the broader energy/utility industry.

Familiarity or experience with SailPoint, Genetec, or Andover systems.

Knowledge of physical access security applications (e.g., badging systems) and network security concepts.

Familiarity with NERC CIP compliance requirements or working in regulated security environments.

Experience utilizing ServiceNow for project management tracking
