Job Title: IS Technician - Helpdesk

Duration: 6+ months contract (possibility to convert permanent)

Location: Palm Beach County, FL

*mileage reimbursement at 72 cents per mile*

They must have a reliable vehicle that can hold a printer and few other parts, nothing excessive. (a two-seater will not work) *SAFETY SENSITIVE* Location: We need someone residing in Palm Beach County. Prefer residing mid county. (Boynton to Palm Beach) *There is a possibility this candidate could go perm.

Summary

This position will be providing excellent customer service while installing, diagnosing, and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements. This equipment includes POS (point of sale) registers, self-checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, cabling, pharmacy, photo, minute clinic and other related computer peripherals. THIS IS A FIELD SERVICE POSITION. MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE

Experience

Must demonstrate strong trouble shooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent customer service, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Proficient in using computer hardware and software applications.
• Must be self-directed with excellent follow up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule environment to support hours of operation 24 x 7.

Duties:-

Service and install computer equipment by analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving problems while providing excellent customer service and meeting service level commitments.

• Adherence to all compliance processes and procedures.
• Self-manage workload, overtime, inventory, and all administrative functions.
• Gain up to date knowledge of all technology, processes, policies, and procedures.

THIS IS A FIELD SERVICE POSITION. MUST HAVE OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE

Education

Tech School with GED or HS Diploma
