Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Move to client specified locations to inspect individual vehicles booked through the service (one inspection per job/order). Conduct comprehensive inspections covering: Exterior/Body: Paint condition, dents, rust, frame/chassis alignment, panel gaps, signs of prior accident repair Mechanical: Engine condition, fluid leaks, transmission, suspension, steering, brakes, exhaust Electrical: Battery, wiring, lights, dashboard warning indicators, infotainment/AC systems Tires & Wheels: Tread depth, wear patterns, alignment, spare tire Interior: Upholstery, controls, odometer consistency Perform test drives to check the performance. Check VIN/chassis/engine numbers against documents for discrepancies. Complete a standardized digital inspection report with photos, ratings, and notes and delivered to the client shortly after inspection. Communicate findings clearly and professionally to clients (who are often non-technical and relying on the inspector's judgment). Manage own schedule/route for multiple daily inspection appointments across different locations. Maintain inspection equipment (OBD scanner, tools, camera/tablet) in good working order. Ensure timely completion and submission of reports per SLA (e.g., within X hours of inspection). Desired Candidate Profile Education: diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 4 years as a vehicle inspector, mechanic, or automotive technician used-car/independent inspection experience highly valued. License: Valid driver's license required (for travel between jobs and test drives); Saudi license or ability to obtain one. Skills: Strong diagnostic knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and body systems Ability to independently judge vehicle condition without workshop backup Strong customer-facing communication (explaining technical issues in plain language) Comfortable using mobile inspection apps/tablets and OBD-II scanners Time management for multi-stop daily schedules English required; Arabic a strong plus for client communication Physical Requirements: Able to bend, kneel, and inspect vehicles from underneath/inside in varied outdoor conditions. Other: Own transportation or company-provided transport between jobs; eligible for KSA work visa sponsorship (Iqama); clean background/police clearance.
