Informatica Tester

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for ETL, data migration, data integration, and Informatica MDM solutions. Perform end-to-end testing of data flows across source systems, staging layers, transformation layers, and target systems. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, and Data Validation Testing. Validate Informatica ETL mappings, workflows, sessions, transformations, and data pipelines. Perform testing of Informatica MDM processes, including data consolidation, matching, merging, survivorship, hierarchies, and master data governance. Validate data quality, data completeness, data accuracy, data transformation rules, and reconciliation between source and target systems. Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, backend testing, and defect investigation. Develop and execute test scripts for data processing, batch jobs, interfaces, and database validations. Perform UAT coordination and support business users in test case execution, defect validation, and sign-off activities. Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and traceability matrices. Identify, document, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect management tools. Work closely with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and banking subject matter experts to resolve issues. Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies and ETL failures. Support test automation and data validation frameworks where applicable. Prepare testing status reports, defect reports, test execution reports, and UAT sign-off documentation.
