HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including load calculations, ductwork layouts, and equipment specifications to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs, focusing on aesthetics and functionality. Conduct energy modeling and analysis to recommend sustainable solutions that comply with local codes and industry standards, enhancing building efficiency. Prepare and present design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to stakeholders for review and approval throughout the project lifecycle. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in HVAC principles and systems. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in HVAC design, showcasing a track record of successful project delivery. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and ethical practice. Experience with green building certifications (e.g., LEED) or energy efficiency programs, reflecting an understanding of sustainable design practices.
