HSE Officer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies and procedures across retail outlets and warehouse operations. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for warehouses, stockrooms, loading/unloading areas, and retail floors. Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, local authority requirements, and company safety standards. Identify potential hazards related to material handling, racking systems, forklifts, pallet movement, and storage operations, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor safe loading and unloading practices, ensuring proper use of PPE and handling equipment. Oversee fire safety systems, emergency exits, fire drills, and evacuation plans for warehouses and retail locations. Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare incident reports and implement preventive measures. Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, and safety training for warehouse staff, drivers, and retail employees. Coordinate with warehouse managers, store managers, and operations teams to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain HSE documentation, permits, inspection records, and statutory compliance reports. Support emergency response procedures and ensure readiness at all operational locations.
