Job Summary

An IT solutions company in Amman, Jordan, is searching for an HR Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will manage the affairs of the employees working in the Amman office, in addition to the international and freelance workforce who operate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: Hire for technical and non-technical roles, develop job descriptions for newly created positions, build a strong talent pipeline, and plan headcount in line with company growth
• Employee Retention & Culture: Build a positive, collaborative culture and implement policies that attract and retain talent
• Performance Management: Manage the full performance cycle
• Succession Planning: Identify critical roles and prepare internal backups to ensure business continuity
• HR Policies & Compliance: Develop and update HR policies and ensure compliance with labor law
• Training & Development: Identifying skill gaps, developing training plans, supporting professional certifications, and establishing career development paths
• International Workforce Management: Managing remote employees and freelancers, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance, and compliance coordination
• Employee Growth & Retention: Supporting employee engagement, career progression, and long-term talent development
• Payroll will not be part of the role's initial responsibilities
• However, it can be handed over to the HR Manager at a later stage, depending on what is agreed upon at the time of joining
• Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Human Resources Management A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience
• Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD. Strong understanding of Workforce Planning, Change Management, and Employee Engagement principles
• Fluency in both Arabic and English
