Front End & UI Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities As a Front End & UI Developer, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user experiences. You will play a key role in designing and developing intuitive and engaging interfaces for our innovative e-learning platform. Key Responsibilities: Develop templates and functional prototypes by hand coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript Ensure digital products and solutions are consistent with UX/UI standards Test and debug interactive models to address browser compatibility, usability, accessibility, and performance issues Adhere to web accessibility standards and best practices Optimize user interface performance across targeted platforms to ensure it displays quickly, smoothly, and accurately Iteratively work with back-end developers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the front end and back end are properly interfaced Implement user interfaces and the features for our brand-new cloud apps for our Data Scientists and Platform Solutions Group Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex workflows and web applications Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers and Software Engineers to deliver scalable and easy to use applications Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues for handling large scale data Required Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices. Practical knowledge of web page optimization techniques and guidelines for fast page load times Familiar with using github, jenkins, asset-pipelines, and ci/cd tools Strong professional experience with Javascript MVC frameworks (e.g.,Angular JS, Backbone) Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.
