Job Description Roles & Responsibilities As the Fleet Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include overseeing driver management, vehicle allocation, and optimizing transportation routes. You will work closely with our team to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and provide excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate a fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient utilization and optimal performance. Oversee driver scheduling, routing, and dispatch, considering factors like traffic, weather, and client requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all fleet-related activities, including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and mileage. Monitor and analyze fleet performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures. Handle vehicle allocation and assignment, considering factors such as driver availability, vehicle type, and client needs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for drivers and passengers. Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule regular vehicle inspections and repairs, minimizing downtime. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance fleet management. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive experience. Generate reports and provide insights to the management team, supporting decision-making processes. Desired Candidate Profile Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant fleet management software is a must. A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet management or a related field. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Knowledge of transportation logistics, including routing, scheduling, and optimization techniques. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and safety regulations. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. A valid driving license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills. Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and a fast-paced work culture.
