Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement the company's financial strategy and policies. Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning. Ensure availability of funds to meet margin requirements and trading obligations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate annual external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management. Maintain relationships with banks, brokers, and financial institutions. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Implement and maintain internal financial controls. Monitor capital adequacy and working capital requirements. Supervise taxation matters and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Support strategic business initiatives, investments, and financing activities. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. Master's degree (MBA or Finance) preferred. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA is highly desirable. Documents must be attested. Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience. At least 5 years in a senior financial management role. Previous experience within commodity trading, energy trading, financial services, or related industries. Experience managing treasury functions involving margin financing and broker relationships. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards. Expertise in treasury and cash management. Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capabilities. Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills. Key Competencies Strategic financial leadership. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic trading environment Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and provides regular financial updates to the Shareholder/Board of Directors.
