Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, networks, and IT equipment. Monitor network and system performance and resolve technical issues. Provide hardware and software support to employees. Troubleshoot problems related to computers, printers, applications, internet, and network connectivity. Manage user accounts, permissions, passwords, and access controls. Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other network systems. Install and maintain operating systems, applications, and security software. Perform regular system updates, patches, backups, and maintenance. Monitor and respond to IT security threats and incidents. Maintain IT documentation, including network diagrams, asset records, configurations, and procedures. Manage IT hardware and software inventory. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external IT support teams. Support Microsoft 365, email systems, cloud services, and collaboration tools, where applicable. Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures. Assist with data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities. Set up IT systems for new employees, offices, and projects. Train users on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices. Evaluate new technologies and recommend IT improvements and upgrades. Maintain compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and applicable regulations. Prepare technical reports and maintenance records for management.
