To design complex end-to-end technology solutions that translate business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and integrated architectures aligned with enterprise technology strategy and architecture standards. Main Duties and

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex business and technology initiatives
• Translate business requirements into application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security architecture
• Define solution components, interfaces, technology patterns, and integration approaches
• Design payment flows and platform solutions across schemes, partners, and core systems
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and technology standards
• Ensure architectures satisfy SAMA regulatory, data residency, and audit requirements
• Evaluate build-versus-buy options and assess vendor solutions against business and technical requirements
• Conduct architecture assessments and identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints
• Design for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery in payment-critical systems
• Review technical designs and implementations for alignment with approved architecture
• Present and defend solution designs in architecture governance forums
• Guide engineering teams through solution design and implementation across multiple squads
• Support modernization, scalability, resilience, and technology optimization initiatives
• Maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and records of technical decisions

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master s preferred. 5+ years in software engineering and architecture, including end-to-end solution ownership. Strong breadth across application, integration, data, cloud, and security architecture. Hands-on background as a senior engineer before moving into architecture. Payments or banking experience, with knowledge of card schemes, ISO 8583/20022, and national payment rails. Professional Certificates (TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification preferred).
