Estimation Manager - Electrical

Lead and manage electrical estimation and tendering activities for MEP construction projects, ensuring competitive and commercially viable bids. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work to identify project requirements, discrepancies, and potential risks. Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and pricing for electrical materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracting works. Handle estimation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, cabling, cable containment, earthing, lightning protection, and other associated electrical installations. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, conduct commercial comparisons, and negotiate competitive rates. Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options, and alternative solutions to improve tender competitiveness. Coordinate with procurement, technical, planning, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions. Supervise and guide estimation engineers, review their work, and ensure the accuracy and quality of cost estimates. Participate in tender review meetings, client clarifications, commercial negotiations, and project handover after contract award.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. 15–18 years of overall experience in electrical estimation and tendering, preferably with an MEP contracting company. Minimum 5–8 years of GCC experience is preferred. Proven experience in preparing and managing electrical tenders for large-scale MEP construction projects. Employment Type Full-time
