Engineering Manager - JAVA

We are seeking a results-driven Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams across local and remote environments, ensuring predictable delivery of high-quality software solutions while continuously improving engineering productivity and innovation. This role requires a strong leader who actively challenges the status quo, drives accountability for delivery commitments, and fosters a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation. The Engineering Manager will leverage modern cloud platforms, AI-driven engineering practices, automation, and advanced tooling to improve development velocity, quality, and efficiency while aligning engineering execution with business strategy. Responsibilities/Accountabilities Engineering Leadership & Delivery Ownership: Lead multiple engineering teams to consistently deliver high-quality products on schedule. Establish strong delivery discipline, accountability, and performance ownership. Proactively identify delivery risks, remove blockers, and ensure timely execution. Driving AI-Enabled Engineering Excellence: Promote adoption of AI-driven tools and intelligent automation. Leverage AI for development acceleration, testing automation, code quality, operational analytics, and decision support. Encourage data-driven engineering practices. Cloud Strategy & Technical Oversight Guide design and delivery of scalable, secure cloud solutions. Ensure architecture supports scalability, performance, resilience, and business continuity. Provide strategic technical direction while empowering engineering teams. Process Optimization & Tool-Driven Efficiency: Champion engineering tools, DevOps automation, collaboration, and monitoring. Improve workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and promote automation. Strategic Alignment & Technology Roadmap: Align engineering initiatives with business priorities. Contribute to technology roadmaps including cloud modernization and AI adoption. Process Optimization & Tool-Driven Efficiency:: Champion engineering tools, DevOps automation, collaboration, and monitoring. Improve workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and promote automation. Talent Development & Leadership Growth: Mentor engineering leads and team members. Foster a high-performance engineering culture. Strategic Alignment & Technology Roadmap: Align engineering initiatives with business priorities. Contribute to technology roadmaps including cloud modernization and AI adoption. Competencies -Core/Technical: Java enterprise development using Spring Boot and Microservices. Angular, REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases. Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI. Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps automation. IAM solutions, workflow orchestration tools. Monitoring and observability frameworks. AI-driven engineering tools and intelligent automation. Strong DevOps and Agile delivery experience Preferred: Experience scaling distributed by engineering teams. Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering workflows. Exposure to enterprise compliance and governance environments.
