Electrical Project Manager

Manage and coordinate all electrical works throughout the project lifecycle. Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings, and technical documents. Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams. Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programs, and manpower requirements. Supervise site electrical activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications. Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines. Review material submittments, technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings. Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Monitor project costs, variations, material requirements, and subcontractor performance. Identify technical issues, delays, risks, and potential conflicts and implement appropriate corrective actions. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings. Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and final handover of electrical systems. Prepare and review progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation. Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements. Lead and supervise electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors. Maintain effective communication with the client and consultant and address technical or operational issues promptly. Ensure as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other handover documents are completed.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering. 8 12+ years of experience in electrical construction/project management, preferably with a construction or contracting company. Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LV/MV systems, power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarm, ELV, and related installations. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices. Experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management/scheduling software. PMP certification or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
