DevOps Lead

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies. In this leadership role, you will oversee the DevOps function, mentor engineering teams, and ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our software delivery processes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, containerization, and modern DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to accelerate software delivery while maintaining operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes. Manage cloud environments across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Manage containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. Ensure high system availability, reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness. Monitor application and infrastructure performance using observability and monitoring tools. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, release management, and production support. Establish DevSecOps practices by integrating security into the software development lifecycle. Develop automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to improve platform stability. Mentor DevOps Engineers and promote best practices in cloud operations, automation, and system reliability. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and deployment strategies. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. At least 2 years of experience leading DevOps or Platform Engineering teams. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, security, and system architecture. Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic. Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform) are considered an advantage. Requirements Strong leadership and technical mentoring skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Deep understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures. Experience implementing DevSecOps and security best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing business needs. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Professional proficiency in English is required.
