Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite technical support in a corporate office environment. This role will focus on end-user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, workstation deployments, asset management, and day-to-day deskside operations.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience supporting Windows environments, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Workstation Support

Provide hardware and software break/fix support for Windows 10/11 systems

Perform IMAC services (Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes)

Image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops

Support printers, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals

Install approved software and applications

Troubleshoot network, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues

Asset Management

Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation

Perform asset tagging, recovery, and disposal activities

Prepare and package devices for deployment, return, or disposal

Support equipment check-in and check-out processes

Customer Support

Deliver high-quality onsite technical support to end users

Document and update incidents in the ticketing system

Follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution

Partner with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues

Mobile Device Support

Support iOS and Android devices, including email setup and basic troubleshooting

Assist users with mobile device configuration and connectivity issues

Required Qualifications

2+ years of Deskside, Desktop, or Help Desk support experience

Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripheral devices

Experience with ticketing systems and asset management

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

This is a Contract position based out of York, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
