Design & Proposal Engineer – Blast Resistant/ Explosion Proof Building

Technical Design & Engineering Develop conceptual and detailed engineering designs for Blast Resistant, Explosion Proof Modular Buildings, E-Houses, MCC Buildings, Control Rooms, and Containerized Solutions. Review client specifications, datasheets, engineering standards, and tender documents. Prepare technical layouts, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, and engineering calculations. Coordinate with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Gas, and Architectural disciplines. Ensure designs comply with international codes, standards, and project specifications. Proposal Engineering & Tendering Review RFQs, tender documents, and technical specifications. Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements. Develop technical clarifications, compliance matrices, deviations, and bid documentation. Participate in bid clarification meetings and technical discussions with clients and EPC contractors. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams during bid preparation. Estimation & Costing Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Identify material requirements and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate fabrication, logistics, transportation, and installation costs. Support management with pricing strategies, project budgeting, and risk assessments. Application Engineering Recommend optimized engineering solutions based on project specifications and customer requirements. Deliver technical presentations and engineering support to clients. Provide pre-award and post-award engineering assistance. Support project execution teams during detailed engineering and implementation phases. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in: Blast Resistant Buildings (BRB) Explosion Proof Modular Buildings E-Houses MCC Buildings Control Rooms Containerized Building Solutions Experience delivering projects for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or Industrial Infrastructure sectors. Preferred Experience Hands-on experience in Blast Resistant and Explosion Proof Building design. Strong knowledge of modular construction and containerized building systems. Familiarity with international standards including: API NFPA IEC ATEX ISO IBC AISC ASCE Blast Resistant Design Guidelines Experience working with major GCC clients and EPC contractors such as ADNOC, Petrofac, Technip, McDermott, NMDC, Saipem, Samsung Engineering, and similar organizations.
