Deputy General Manager-Operations - Tanzania

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Deputy General Manager- Operations Controls will be responsible for supporting the business objective of ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and contract-related requirements across operations in the region’s locations. Operational Assurance Reviews and Compliance Monitoring Conduct comprehensive, in-depth assurance reviews of regional operations to ensure adherence to the relevant controls framework, following the established regional calendar. Perform ad-hoc assurance reviews of operations triggered by risk events, incidents, client requests, and other relevant factors. Stakeholder Engagement and Remediation Support Gather management feedback from key stakeholders, compile observations, and prepare assurance reports for regional leadership. Track, report, and provide support for the timely closure of remediation actions identified in assurance reports. Assist in investigations related to incidents and risk events within the region. Certification, Audits, and Best Practices Sharing Contribute to the region's ISO and other relevant certifications or accreditations. Provide support during client audits conducted within the region. Promote the sharing of best practices, including observations and remediation actions from assurance reports, incidents, and risk events across regional locations. Offer insights for continuous improvement of the regional controls framework. Environment, Social & Governance Promote judicious use of natural resources. Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual. a. Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices. b. Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. Desired Candidate Profile Education Graduate/ postgraduate or global equivalent degree and certification in Risk Management or Auditing is preferred. Experience 10-15 years of experience in visa facilitation operations or Hospitality/Service industry.
