Job Description Roles & Responsibilities AVL Maroc SARL AU offers a job in Morocco (MA) as Data Platform & DevOps Engineer We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer responsible for supporting the administration, governance, and operational management of the Databricks platform. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, security, cost efficiency, and enabling data teams through standardized processes and automation. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Platform Administration & Governance Support the administration of Databricks environments (DEV, TEST, PROD) Manage user access, roles, and permissions Support identity provisioning via Azure AD / AWS IAM Collaborate with cloud teams on connectivity, storage access, and security topics Workspace Operations & Support Manage access to notebooks, jobs, clusters, and SQL Warehouses Support cluster configuration and usage policies Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with support teams Maintain operational documentation and internal guidelines Data Governance & Security Support Unity Catalog governance (catalogs, schemas, tables) Manage access controls and data ownership Ensure platform security standards and audit readiness Contribute to compliance and governance processes DevOps & Automation Support CI/CD processes for Databricks deployments Participate in automation initiatives using Git-based workflows Contribute to standard templates and deployment practices Support lifecycle management across environments Cost & Usage Management Monitor platform usage and identify optimization opportunities Support cost tracking and reporting activities Contribute to tagging and governance practices for cost attribution Desired Candidate Profile YOUR PROFILE: Formation : Master s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field Experience Minimum 1 years of experience as a Data Plateform Enginner Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and Git-based workflows Experience working in cloud-based data platforms or DevOps environments is a plus Technical Skills Experience with Databricks administration (workspace management, access management, clusters, Unity Catalog is a plus) Knowledge of Azure cloud services (preferred) or other cloud providers Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform is a plus) Scripting knowledge (Python or Bash is a plus) Certifications (Nice to Have) Databricks certifications (ex: Databricks Certified Data Engineer, Databricks Platform Administrator) Cloud certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent Languages & Soft Skills Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) Good analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a collaborative and international environment Proactive mindset and structured way of working Technical Profile: - Databricks Expertise: Deep experience with Unity Catalog, Account Console, and Workspace administration - IaC & Automation: Expert proficiency in Terraform; experience with Databricks CLI, Asset Bundles, and REST API - Cloud Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP networking and security - CI/CD Tooling: Proven experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI - Scripting: Proficient in Python and Bash for platform automation Company Industry AutomotiveAutomobileAuto Accessories Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Data Platform & DevOps Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
