Data Entry Operator

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Support daily operational and administrative functions within the shipping agency by accurately entering, verifying, and maintaining shipment, cargo, and client data Enter and update shipment, cargo, and client data into internal systems and databases accurately and on time Verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry; identify and correct discrepancies Maintain and organize digital and physical records related to bookings, bills of lading, invoices, and manifests Coordinate with operations, documentation, and customer service teams to gather and confirm data Generate reports and summaries from entered data as required by management Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information Handle data entry for vendor and customer master files, rate sheets, and container/vessel schedules Support month-end and periodic reconciliation of records Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned Desired Candidate Profile Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry software Familiarity with shipping/logistics ERP systems is an advantage Strong, accurate typing/keyboarding skills Basic knowledge of shipping documentation (B/L, manifests, invoices) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills, in English (Arabic a plus) Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information Ability to work under deadlines and manage high-volume data with minimal errors Basic computer/data entry certification is an advantage Employment Type Full-time Company Industry LogisticsTransportationWarehousingCourier Department / Functional Area Data EntryOperationsBack Office Processing Keywords Data EntryShippingLogisticsFreight ForwardingMS ExcelMS WordERP SystemsTypingBills Of LadingInvoicesManifestsData AccuracyConfidentiality Get real-time job updates only on our App
