Credit Investment Quality Assurance Officer

Job Purpose To perform periodic quality check-ups on Credit & Investment Control and Credit Investigation activities and the disbursement of fund along with the relevant requirement fulfilment to ensure its compliant to the relevant policies & procedures. Description 1.Conduct reviews on relevant credit processes performed by Credit & Investment Control and Credit Investigation departments. 2.Conduct the review on the day to day utilization related to O/D to ensure compliance with standards, procedures and approved facility structures in line with the agreed upon selection criteria. 3.Monitor the utilization under expired overdrafts to ensure the availability of proper approvals based on the applied approval matrix. 4.Prepare & present quality assurance review findings in effective & concise manner to the Credit & Investment Quality Assurance Team Head. 5.Review the received feedback from the Credit & Investment Control and Credit Investigation departments on the quality assurance findings & report them to the Credit & Investment Quality Assurance Team Head. 6.Perform follow-up reviews to determine appropriate actions are taken on reported findings and that desired quality results are achieved. 7.Assist in serving as the liaison during external and internal audit inspections/engagement on behalf of the Credit & Investment Control & Investigation department. Policies, Processes and Procedures 8.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Day- to-day operations 9.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Credit Investment Quality Assurance department to ensure continuity of work Compliance: 10.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 4 years of relevant experience Previous experience in data validation, report preparation, and operational follow-up is an advantage. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliation, and report preparation. Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, validation, and analysis. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development, data visualization, and performance monitoring. Ability to work with banking systems and manage large volumes of data accurately. Knowledge of Python for data analysis, reporting automation, and process optimization is a plus.. Soft
