Cost Controller

Responsibilities

Monitor and control operational and project costs against approved budgets Analyze cost structures, profitability, and financial performance Prepare accurate and timely cost reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) Conduct variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast) and provide actionable insights Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvement Develop interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools Present financial data through charts, graphs, and KPIs for management Translate complex data into clear, visual insights to support decision-making Automate reporting processes and enhance data visibility Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate cost planning Update forecasts based on actual performance and trends Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures Support internal and external audits Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field 5 to 8 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or similar role Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis Advanced Excel skills (dashboards, pivot tables, advanced formulas) Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is highly preferred Fluent in Arabic, English, and French Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to present data in a clear and visual format
