Construction - Lab Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Perform comprehensive testing on construction materials like concrete, asphalt, and soil to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Accurately record and document all test results, preparing detailed reports for project managers and engineers. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring precision and reliability of testing procedures. Prepare material samples for testing, including cutting, grinding, and mixing as required by testing protocols. Desired Candidate Profile Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering field is a plus. Relevant certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician or NICET certification are highly desirable. Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in a construction materials testing laboratory setting. Familiarity with construction materials and their properties, gained through experience in the civil engineering or construction industry.
