Commercial Manager - Electrical

Manage complete commercial and contractual activities for power transmission and distribution projects. Handle commercial activities for EHV, HV and LV cable laying, cable pulling, jointing, termination, testing and commissioning works. Review contracts, BOQs, drawings, specifications, cable schedules, scope of work and technical requirements. Manage commercial aspects of EHV/HV/LV cables, cable accessories, substations, transformers, switchgear and associated electrical works. Prepare and submit monthly valuations, IPCs, payment applications and invoices. Prepare, price, submit and negotiate variations, claims and additional works with clients and consultants. Handle EOT, prolongation, disruption and other contractual claims with proper supporting documents. Monitor project cost, commitments, revenue, gross profit, cash flow and commercial performance. Prepare commercial reports, cost forecasts, budget vs. actuals and profitability analysis. Manage subcontractor agreements, valuations, variations, claims, payments and final accounts. Review quantities, BOQ items, rate analysis, remeasurement and progress for electrical and cable-laying works. Coordinate with Project, Electrical Engineering, Planning, Procurement, QS, Finance and Site teams. Monitor material costs, cable quantities, wastage, subcontract costs, recoveries and outstanding payments. Lead final accounts, commercial settlements and project close-out. Identify commercial risks, cost leakages and opportunities for improved cost recovery and project profitability. Strong UAE experience in EHV/HV/LV Power Transmission & Distribution and cable laying projects is mandatory. Desired Candidate Profile
