Collections Officer

Manage accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding debts and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients. Conduct thorough credit assessments to evaluate the risk of extending credit to potential customers, making informed decisions based on financial data. Develop and implement effective collection strategies tailored to different client profiles, maximizing recovery rates while maintaining positive relationships. Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes amicably.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred to ensure a strong foundation in financial principles. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a collections or credit management role, demonstrating a proven track record in debt recovery. Certification in credit management or collections, such as the Credit Business Associate (CBA) or Certified Collections Specialist (CCS), is a plus.
