We are looking for an experienced CockroachDB Database Administrator with 8+ years of Database Administration experience and 2+ years of hands-on production experience with CockroachDB. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing distributed database environments, performance tuning, high availability, backup & recovery, and production support.

Mandatory Skills:8+ years of Database Administration experience.

2+ years of hands-on CockroachDB administration in production.

Strong experience with CockroachDB cluster installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.

Expertise in distributed database architecture, replication, scalability, and high availability.

Strong skills in query optimization, database performance tuning, and capacity planning.

Experience with backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and database monitoring.

Knowledge of database security, user management, and access controls.

Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical production environments.

Willingness to participate in on-call production support.

Preferred Skills:Bash or Python scripting for database automation.

Experience working with large-scale distributed database environments.
