Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with strong project management and/or site management experience to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with UAE regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects. Manage and coordinate project activities from planning through completion. Supervise and manage site operations, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Supervise site activities and monitor construction progress. Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare technical reports. Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project progress. Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions. Identify project risks, site issues, and potential delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions. Ensure quality control and quality assurance procedures are followed throughout project execution. Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and provide regular updates to management. Assist in project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and tendering activities. Lead site meetings and coordinate with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure projects are delivered within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or building projects. Proven experience in project management and/or site management. Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and industry standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and project management software. Strong understanding of structural, geotechnical, and construction engineering principles. Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and project execution. Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage site teams, contractors, subcontractors, and project resources effectively. UAE driving license is preferred. Membership in a recognized engineering body is an advantage. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience in Sharjah area is highly preferred. Hands-on experience in project management and/or site management. Experience managing construction projects from mobilization through completion and handover. Experience with residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects in the UAE. Familiarity with local authority approval processes. Experience working with consultants, developers, contractors, and subcontractors. Experience in project scheduling, cost monitoring, procurement, and construction coordination. Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and site requirements. Employment Type Full-time
