Chief Accountant - Female

A well-established company in Lebanon is looking to hire a Chief Accountant (Female) to lead and oversee its accounting and financial reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting. Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports. Ensure compliance with Lebanese tax, NSSF, and accounting requirements. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and general ledger activities. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and relevant authorities. Review accounting processes and internal controls and ensure proper implementation. Supervise and support the accounting team. Provide management with accurate financial analysis and recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, with solid experience in a senior accounting role. Previous experience as a Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting, taxation, and NSSF regulations. Excellent knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
