Category Manager

For our University client, we are seeking an experienced Category Manager, with strong strategic sourcing experience in Facilities Management and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute Facilities/MRO category strategies

Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards

Analyze spend and identify savings, consolidation, and contract-adoption opportunities

Manage supplier performance and work with cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

Direct Facilities/MRO sourcing experience

Strong contract negotiation and supplier-management skills

Experience managing complex sourcing projects

Experience in higher education, healthcare, government, or another large organization is required
