Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Camp Administration & Operations Manage the day-to-day operations of labor camps and staff accommodations. Ensure all accommodation facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and habitable condition. Monitor camp occupancy and maintain accurate records of employee accommodation allocations. Coordinate room assignments, transfers, and employee check-ins/check-outs. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, kitchens, dining areas, washrooms, and common facilities. Ensure compliance with company accommodation policies and local authority regulations. Employee Welfare & Discipline Address employee concerns, complaints, and accommodation-related issues promptly. Promote a healthy and positive living environment for camp residents. Enforce camp rules, regulations, and disciplinary standards. Monitor employee behavior within the camp and report violations to management. Assist in resolving conflicts among camp residents. Facilities Management Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for camp facilities. Ensure proper functioning of utilities including electricity, water supply, air conditioning, sewage systems, and firefighting equipment. Liaise with maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers to address facility issues. Monitor housekeeping services and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the camp. Catering & Food Services Supervise catering operations and ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained. Coordinate meal schedules and address food-related concerns from employees. Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dining facilities, and food storage areas. Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure camp operations comply with company HSE policies and local municipality regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Monitor emergency preparedness measures, including fire safety equipment and evacuation procedures. Maintain records related to health, safety, and accommodation compliance. Coordinate with HSE personnel during inspections and audits. Inventory & Asset Management Maintain records of camp assets, furniture, appliances, and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of consumables and housekeeping supplies. Report damaged or missing assets and coordinate replacements. Ensure proper utilization and safeguarding of company property. Transportation & Logistics Coordination Coordinate employee transportation schedules between accommodation and project sites. Monitor transportation arrangements and report operational issues. Maintain records related to employee movement and transportation requirements. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of camp residents, visitors, maintenance requests, and inspections. Prepare periodic reports on camp operations, occupancy, maintenance, and employee welfare matters. Submit reports to management regarding camp performance and operational requirements. Maintain employee accommodation files and related documentation. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Facility Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in Facility Management, Health & Safety, or Camp Administration will be an advantage. Experience Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Supervisor, Accommodation Supervisor, or similar role. Experience within the construction, contracting, infrastructure, or industrial sector preferred. Knowledge of labor accommodation management and welfare practices. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Good organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of labor camp operations and accommodation management. Understanding of HSE requirements and accommodation standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to handle employee grievances and conflict resolution effectively. Strong record-keeping and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Camp cleanliness and hygiene standards. Employee accommodation satisfaction levels. Compliance with health, safety, and municipality requirements. Timely resolution of maintenance and employee welfare issues. Accuracy of accommodation and occupancy records. Efficient utilization of camp facilities and resources. Reduction in camp-related complaints and incidents. Authority Level Allocate accommodation rooms as per company policy. Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping activities. Enforce camp rules and regulations. Escalate disciplinary, safety, and operational concerns to management. Working Conditions Based at labor accommodation camps with regular visits to project sites and company offices. May be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, depending on operational requirements.
