Business Operations - Strategic Partner Manager V

Location: New York, New York (Onsite or remote)

COMPENSATION: $73 - $83 HOURLY

Role Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager for our Wearables division. This role involves building and maintaining strategic relationships with key leaders at partner organizations and internally. The position requires influencing outcomes, providing detailed updates, and driving key leadership meetings to communicate strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders at Wearables Partners and internally.

Drive key leadership meetings and effectively communicate strategic recommendations and updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure a strategic and cross-ecosystems view of key partners in preparation for executive meetings, escalations, and deal negotiations.

Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, legal, and marketing, to prepare for partner engagements.

Develop and manage partnership strategies from deal development to product launches, focusing on growth and delivering results.

Identify and analyze complex business problems, develop novel solutions, and provide recommendations to leadership.

Mitigate risks, manage escalations to executives, and identify opportunities through partner landscape mapping and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

Education: A BA/BS Degree is required.

Experience: 8+ years of experience in a partner-facing role within the technology or consumer electronics industries, with a focus on managing complex deals and partnerships. Experience should include prioritizing partner-related issues, finding solutions, and motivating stakeholders. The role requires experience in leading cross-functional teams to bring new products to market and mitigate risks.

Skills: Sound business judgment, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized. The ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

An MBA degree.

Business experience in consumer electronics, accessories, and devices partnerships, partner management, or consulting.

Strong technical competence or a motivation to learn about technology.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience developing strong working relationships.

Skill in navigating, understanding, and enforcing contracts.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business engagements.
