Business Intelligence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data and identify business enhancement opportunities or BI project requirements
• Design data architecture, develop strategies, and provide business object solutions as per business needs
• Monitor and manage all BI projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Administer project phases, prepare updates, and implement all necessary actions to meet business objectives under the direction of the BI Manager
• Perform appropriate testing within budget constraints
• Focus on the delivery of best practice processes that support effective production efficiency and measurement
• Oversee the successful implementation of all Information Technology projects to meet business goals
• Coordinate with data generators to ensure adherence to data standards and compliance
• Support all transactional data sources and manage reporting and uploading requirements
• Provide support to business resources by monitoring and meeting various value-added service requirements
• Help develop strategies for overall project efficiency and improvements, driven by data and insights from Project Leaders and the CMO team
• Collaborate with process development and resource teams to support the development of appropriate staff schedules
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Fleet Cycle reports, ensuring operational plans are maintained and followed up on with JIRAs and reporting methods
• Assist with any other appropriate and reasonable tasks requested by Joramco Management to support business needs
• Ensure all interactions with internal and external departments are managed professionally, reliably, and promptly
• Escalate issues/communication through the direct manager, customers, and department managers

Requirements

• Technical diploma or degree, or 3 years of job-specific experience
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodology
• Familiarity with aircraft material management processes
• Understanding of materials management and the handling of dangerous goods
• Comprehensive understanding of the Part 145 regulatory environment, as well as in-depth knowledge of the company's processes and procedures
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards appropriate for a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organization
• Understanding of base maintenance operations
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and presentation preparation
• Strong crisis management and time management skills
• Proficient in technical English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both in writing and verbally
