Business Analyst
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, gather and analyze requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of impactful solutions. Your work environment will be dynamic, blending time at Capgemini offices, client sites, and remote work though fully remote arrangements are not possible. Key Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges. Define, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments. Translate business needs into actionable requirements for development teams. Process Mapping & Optimization Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Develop process flows and business models using tools like Visio or Lucidchart. Support automation initiatives by pinpointing repetitive or manual tasks. Collaboration & Project Support Serve as a liaison between business teams, developers, QA, and other stakeholders. Support project planning, sprint discussions, and prioritization. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement walkthroughs. Assist QA teams with test case validation and user acceptance testing (UAT). Reporting & Documentation Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and user stories. Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular progress updates and management reports. Solution Delivery & Support Validate solutions against requirements and ensure successful implementation. Provide post-deployment support and drive user adoption. Analyze feedback and recommend enhancements. Desired Candidate Profile Technical & Analytical Skills Strong grasp of business analysis frameworks and SDLC. Experience with requirement documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Proficiency in data analysis (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau preferred). Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence). Understanding of process modeling (BPMN standards). Professional Experience Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. Experience in agile or hybrid environments. Domain knowledge in IT, BFSI, HR, or Operations is advantageous. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effective negotiation and stakeholder management. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications. Knowledge of automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate) is a plus. Experience with product-based or customer-facing projects. Exposure to data analytics and reporting systems.
