BTU Metering Engineer / Data Control Engineer (District Cooling)

Job Purpose Responsible for managing and maintaining the District Cooling BTU metering system to ensure accurate energy measurement, reliable billing, and efficient system operation. The role requires knowledge of BTU metering systems, Meter Data Management (MDM), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the BTU Meter Data Management (MDM) system and prepare technical and MIS reports. Analyse and validate BTU meter readings before validation to billing department. Coordinate cooling service connections/disconnections with relevant departments. Supervise BTU meter installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities. Operate ERP property creation and meter mounting in the system. Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs and replacements. Supervise assigned staff and ensure timely completion of projects and operational tasks. Liaise with contractors, developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders on metering related matters. Ensure compliance with company health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Required). Relevant certifications in metering, instrumentation, or District Cooling are an advantage. Experience 3–5 years of relevant experience in utility metering, District Cooling or energy management. Experience with BTU metering systems, MDM software, ERP systems, and billing validation. Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and Microsoft Programs skills. Employment Type Full-time
