BI Consultant (ERP Implementation and Digital Transformation)

• Analyse existing business processes, reporting flows and information sources across all departments, and document the As-Is reporting landscape, including manual spreadsheets and shadow reporting. ● Facilitate requirement workshops with process owners and department heads, and translate business needs into functional BI requirements that can be built, tested and accepted. ● Identify and quantify reporting gaps, duplicated data and conflicting figures, and design the To-Be reporting model that eliminates them. ● Represent reporting and analytics requirements within the ERP implementation team so that BI needs shape ERP configuration, master data design and integration scope from the start. ● Participate across the full ERP lifecycle (discover, prepare, explore, realise, deploy, run) with defined BI deliverables and acceptance criteria at each stage gate. ● Create and maintain the Corporate KPI Dictionary, defining for every KPI the business definition, calculation formula, data source, owner, reporting frequency and permitted levels of aggregation. ● Enforce one agreed definition per KPI across all departments, and escalate unresolved definition or data ownership conflicts to programme governance for decision. ● Define the target BI architecture together with IT and ERP architects, covering source systems, the data layer or warehouse, the semantic model and the presentation layer.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor or Master degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a related discipline. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics or data management, including delivery in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven contribution to at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, from requirements through to go-live, in a BI, reporting or data migration role. Strong SQL and hands-on expertise in at least one enterprise BI platform (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent), including data modelling, calculation languages and performance tuning. Practical experience with data warehouse or data lake design, ETL / ELT pipelines and system integration patterns. Sound understanding of manufacturing operations and product costing: bills of material, routings, work orders, yield and scrap, work in progress, standard versus actual costing and inventory valuation. Working knowledge of financial and management reporting: profit and loss, cash flow, budgeting and variance analysis, working capital and profitability analysis. Demonstrated experience defining KPI frameworks, master data rules and data-governance responsibilities across multiple departments. Experience in data migration, data cleansing and reconciliation between legacy systems and ERP. Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage. Experience in the UAE or wider GCC region is an advantage, together with awareness of local data protection and statutory reporting requirements. Employment Type Full-time
