Job Overview
Sales and Business Development Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the glue and adhesive portfolio. Identify and develop new customers across construction, tiling, woodworking, packaging, automotive, and industrial segments. Convert enquiries and leads into confirmed orders through timely follow-up. Grow share of wallet with existing accounts through repeat orders and cross-selling. Customer Management Maintain regular visits, calls, and communication with key accounts, contractors, and applicators. Serve as the first point of contact for product, pricing, and delivery queries. Prepare accurate quotations and offers based on approved price lists and margins. Resolve customer complaints promptly, coordinating with the purchase team where needed. Keep customer records current in the CRM, including industry classification and contact details. Coordinate order confirmation, stock availability, and delivery schedules with the warehouse and logistics team. Technical and Product Support Develop sound knowledge of adhesive types (epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, silicone, contact, PVA, etc.), applications, and technical data sheets. Recommend suitable products by substrate, application, and site conditions. Arrange samples, product demos, and site trials, working with the technical team or principals. Market Intelligence Track competitor products, pricing, and promotions. Report market trends, customer needs, and new product opportunities to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Support the evaluation of new brands, principals, and private-label opportunities. Collections and Compliance Follow up on outstanding receivables in line with agreed credit terms. Adhere to credit limits, company policies, and documentation standards (SDS, TDS, and regulatory requirements). Reporting and Coordination Submit daily or weekly activity reports, sales pipeline updates, and forecast figures. Coordinate with marketing for catalogues, campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional material. Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth order-to-cash execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Valid UAE driving license 2-4 years of B2B sales experience in the UAE Background in adhesives, sealants, construction chemicals, or building materials Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, chemistry, or engineering Existing contacts with contractors, tiling and joinery firms, and traders Strong negotiation and closing skills Ability to explain technical data sheets to non-technical buyers Good English; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage Proficient in MS Office, with CRM/ERP exposure Self-driven, target-oriented, and well organised Willing to travel across the UAE for field visits Immediate or short notice period preferred Employment Type Full-time
