Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance vulnerabilities across the organization's operations. Lead investigations into potential compliance violations, including gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, and preparing detailed reports. Develop and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and company policies. Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations, advising the business on their impact and necessary adjustments. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, including preparing for and participating in audits and examinations. Review and approve marketing materials, contracts, and other documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, keeping them up-to-date and easily accessible. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and risk management, to address compliance issues and implement solutions. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance to proactively enhance the organization's compliance framework. Desired Candidate Profile Possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, finance, or business administration. Holds a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services industry. Demonstrates expertise in regulatory compliance, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR). Has certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, or other relevant professional certifications. Exhibits a deep understanding of the financial services industry, including its products, services, and regulatory landscape. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Should be proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
