Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in diesel and electric forklifts. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklift electrical systems. Repair and maintain wiring harnesses, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, relays, and electrical control units. Inspect and repair lighting systems, warning alarms, ignition systems, and safety devices. Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment to identify faults. Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Replace defective electrical components and ensure proper system functionality. Work closely with the mechanical maintenance team during major equipment repairs. Perform routine inspections to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and manufacturer's maintenance procedures. Maintain service reports and documentation for all maintenance activities. Support breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted warehouse and logistics operations. Desired Candidate Profile ITI / Diploma in Automobile Electrical, Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Auto Electrician with forklift, material handling equipment, heavy equipment, or construction machinery. Experience working on brands such as Toyota, Hyster, Linde, Crown, Mitsubishi, Komatsu, Jungheinrich, Yale, Doosan, Nissan, or CAT Forklifts is preferred. Strong knowledge of DC electrical systems, battery charging systems, controllers, sensors, wiring, and electronic troubleshooting. Ability to use electrical diagnostic equipment and interpret wiring diagrams. Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices. Basic English communication skills. Physically fit and willing to work in industrial and warehouse environments. Gulf or overseas experience is an added advantage.
