Job Overview
Our client is a prominent company within the e-commerce and retail sector, recognized for its innovation, customer focus, and market leadership. They are seeking talented professionals to join their growing team. Our client is a leading multinational company in the e-commerce and retail industry , based in Cairo, Egypt , with operations across multiple Middle Eastern markets. They are seeking an Associate Retail Account Manager to manage vendor relationships, resolve operational issues, expand product selection, and support sustainable business growth. Manage business transactions with Tier 2 and Tier 3 vendors across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Resolve product buyability issues and ensure vendors' listed products remain available on the website. Identify, qualify, and approach potential vendors through cold calls, commercial events, and trade fairs. Present suitable business models and programs to vendors and support their onboarding. Improve commercial terms and encourage vendors to offer competitive prices, deals, and promotions. Expand vendors' product catalogues, with a focus on priority products and leading brands. Source promotional opportunities, including deals and sponsored advertising campaigns. Monitor product availability and coordinate with vendors, carriers, and customers to support efficient order fulfilment. Manage vendor communication through calls and emails while promoting long-term vendor self-sufficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve vendor-management processes and operational performance. Review procedures, identify recurring challenges, and develop effective processes and SOPs. Deliver an excellent vendor experience through responsive communication and effective problem-solving. Manage multiple vendor accounts and responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred. Experience Previous experience in account management, vendor management, retail operations, e-commerce, or a similar role. Previous experience in Retail Business Services, MLH, or an agency supporting Amazon operations is an advantage. Skills Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. Strong vendor-management, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to use account-management platforms and software tools effectively. Strong time-management and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and experiences. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Certifications No specific certification is required.
